Cork :: Wallscrawl Sept - Aug.

More Cork wallscrawl. Apologies for the bad quality, I left them in my pocket and they went through the wash. This one's a little blurry, it reads:

"Why do Corkmen piss on the toilet seat?
(a) so you can sit on their piss
(b) because they didn't bring their mother with them
(c) because thinking is too hard for them
So basically, you sat on some guys piss, yeah? Awesome."

Outside Ballincollig somewhere.

Laptop O' Clock! Speaks volumes. Cork-Mallow line.

N-side somewhere.
FitzGerald's Park.

Dublin :: bits

I was recently at the Analog festival for three amazing bands, so took the time to wander around the city a bit (not very much).pillar.

Face Invaders. Class. Just off Mary's Street.
The same face from Hope Street below. Just below Face Invaders
Now this was a particularly strange house (can you click on it for h-res?). Vampire gargoyle over the threshold. Studded door. Hand painted walls. In the centre of the picture is a tree made of barb'd wire, festooned with a crop of dummies(soothers/pacifiers). "Mais non!" you exclaim, "Ca c'est trop diabolique!". Fine:

Really weird. I caught a fleeting glimpse of a man inside, at third floor window, watching the street. Did he do this to the house? Was he real?

Just past face invaders, off Mary St.

Cork:: Wallscrawl : misty past to present (endJune).

The Backlog of the more verbose things written around the place.

Some hotel-bathroom at an unspecified ball...

Some Cork bathroom.

English Market. It says it all, really.

UCC. Class.

Georges Quay. I always thought equation graffiti would be a really cool idea (and it Is). Like, an extremely long differential equation all over some wall..

I'm pretty sure this is the equation for the radius of a planet.

Peace Park.

Oh, there's more of this guy coming.. O.Plunkett St.

UCC, Cork

North Main St, outside either the Spailpín Fánach or the other ...double-barrel'd pub. Points for originality and having carried a tip-ex pen around since 1998.

Douglas St.-ish. Love it.
